How do we know God's glory is revealed in our suffering?

Answered in 1 source

God's glory is often manifested in our suffering and trials, as it shows His sovereignty and ability to bring good from our circumstances.

In John 11:4, Jesus states, 'This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified through it.' This principle applies broadly, including the accounts of Dorcas' sickness and subsequent resurrection. In Acts 9, her death catalyzed a miraculous event that glorified God and strengthened the faith of many. Suffering and trials are not pointless; they are indeed opportunities for God to display His power and goodness, reinforcing the sovereignty of God over our lives and circumstances. Through sufferings, we often experience an outpouring of grace and an opportunity for God's transformative work.
