How do we know God's grace gives us hope?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace, demonstrated in the life and work of Christ, assures us of our hope in salvation.

The assurance of hope through grace comes from recognizing that salvation is entirely the work of God, not dependent on human effort. Ephesians 2:8-9 states, 'For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.' This grace is given through the Lord Jesus Christ, and believers are called to hold fast to this truth. Our hope is reinforced through God’s promises and faithfulness, which ensure that those whom He has chosen and called will persevere in faith and ultimately receive salvation.
