How do we know God's grace is active in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is evident when we realize our own inability to save ourselves and believe in Christ's work for our salvation.

The evidence of God's grace in our lives often comes through the realization of our own spiritual bankruptcy and the acknowledgment that we cannot save ourselves. Isaiah depicts a waiting God who longs for us to recognize that salvation is solely His work. As seen in Isaiah 30:15, salvation is found in returning to the Lord and resting in His promises. When the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to the truth of our need for Christ, it becomes clear that grace is at work, leading us to faith and reliance upon Christ alone for redemption.
