How do we know God's grace is effective in bringing people to Christ?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is effective as it causes sinners to cry out for mercy and brings them to faith in Christ.

The effectiveness of God's grace is illustrated in Isaiah's prophecy regarding Egypt, where believers are described as crying out to the Lord due to their oppressors. As noted in the sermon, this crying is a direct result of God's sovereign intervention in their lives. When God strips away false confidences, He brings about the true realization of their need for a Savior. This is consistent with passages like Titus 2:11, which states that the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all types of people. Through God's grace, hearts are transformed, enabling sinners to recognize their need for salvation and to come to faith, demonstrating that His grace does not fail but accomplishes its purpose among His elect.
