How do we know God's grace is essential for unity?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is essential for unity as it enables believers to build each other up in love and maintain harmony within the body of Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 3:10-11, Paul speaks of his ministry as a wise master builder, which he attributes entirely to the grace of God. The grace given to each believer serves as the means by which we are enabled to construct unity among ourselves. Without acknowledging that every ability and gift we possess is a result of divine grace, we risk falling into pride and division. According to the sovereignty of God, grace is not just a one-time gift; it continues to be at work in believers to foster unity, humility, and mutual encouragement within the church.
