How do we know God's grace is extended to all types of people?

Answered in 1 source

God’s grace is extended to all, as shown in Christ's interactions with sinners and His welcoming embrace of the lost.

Throughout the Gospels, Jesus emphasizes the inclusivity of God’s grace by associating with the most despised individuals of society, including publicans and sinners. In Luke 15, the characters in the parable—the publicans and sinners who willingly approached Jesus, and the Pharisees who resisted His grace—illustrate the contrast between acceptance of grace and the hypocrisy of self-righteousness. Jesus’ mission was to seek and save the lost, showing that no one is beyond redemption. This reality is reinforced by the father in the parable, who demonstrates readiness to receive both sons, highlighting that God’s love pursues us no matter our circumstances or state of rebellion.
