How do we know God's grace is for the elect?

Answered in 3 sources

God's grace is given to the elected through the revelation of Jesus Christ, as confirmed by Scripture.

Scripture clearly states that God's grace is specifically extended to the elect. In 1 Peter 1:2, the apostle writes of 'the elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father.' This indicates that grace is not a broad offering but is intentionally directed to those whom God has chosen. Additionally, the message of grace comes through the person and work of Jesus Christ, who embodies this grace and brings it to fulfillment. As Romans 8:28-30 explains, those who are called and justified are guaranteed God's grace. Thus, the assurance of grace for the elect is grounded in God's sovereign choice and His redemptive plan as revealed through Christ.
