How do we know God's grace is sufficient for great sin?

Answered in 1 source

Romans 5:20 assures us that where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

God's grace is sufficient even in the presence of great sin, as highlighted in Romans 5:20. The Scriptures teach that God's grace is not merely enough to cover smaller sins, but it triumphs overwhelmingly over all sin. The psalmist in Psalm 25 recognizes his iniquity as great but still appeals for pardon based on God's grace. This shows us that no matter how vast our sin, God's grace through Christ provides a more potent remedy. Thus, great sin requires a great Savior, and God's promise is that not a single sinner who seeks Him through Christ will be left unsaved.
