How do we know God's grace is sufficient for our afflictions?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is demonstrated in His sovereignty and faithfulness during our afflictions, promising to bring good from them.

The sufficiency of God’s grace is assured throughout the Scriptures, particularly in light of our afflictions. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul recounts how God told him, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' This illustrates that in our most challenging moments, God’s grace sustains us. Furthermore, the trials we experience are designed to deepen our faith, as seen in the story of Job, who, despite his afflictions, encountered God's mercy in profound ways. God uses suffering to enhance our reliance on His grace, allowing us to grow spiritually and mature in our faith, as He is the ultimate source of our strength and comfort.
