How do we know God's grace is sufficient for our righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is sufficient because our righteousness comes through faith in Christ, not through our own efforts.

God's grace guarantees that our righteousness is not reliant on our actions but solely on the finished work of Christ. In Romans 8:1, it is declared that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. This assurance allows believers to strive for holiness without falling into despair over their sins. The righteousness we possess is Christ’s righteousness imputed to us, highlighting that our salvation is through grace alone, and not by works (Ephesians 2:8-9). Therefore, we can be confident that God's provision through grace empowers us to live in a way that pleases Him.
