How do we know God's grace is sufficient for our sin?

Answered in 1 source

God’s grace is shown to be sufficient for our sins because His mercy and forgiveness are based on Christ's sacrifice.

The sufficiency of God's grace for our sins is evident in the way He dealt with Hezekiah's pride and sin. Despite Hezekiah’s shortcomings, God remained merciful, reminding us that even in our failures, His grace prevails. God's commitment to forgive and restore His people is rooted in the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, who bore the sins of many on the cross. Isaiah 54 assures believers that, though God may temporarily withdraw His presence to reveal the depths of our hearts, He will never forsake us. Thus, we can be confident in the guarantee of mercy through Christ, who reconciles us to the Father.
