How do we know God's grace is sufficient for our sin?

Answered in 2 sources

God's grace is sufficient because He demonstrates His love through the sacrifice of Christ for the unjust (1 Peter 3:18).

The sufficiency of God's grace is rooted in the reality that Christ suffered for our sins, the just for the unjust, to bring us to God (1 Peter 3:18). This act of redemption ensures that no amount of sin can surpass the power of His grace. The parable of the lost sheep illustrates that regardless of our waywardness, the Shepherd pursues us with a love that seeks our restoration and forgiveness. As Romans 5:20 states, where sin abounds, grace abounds much more, highlighting that God's grace is overwhelmingly sufficient to cover our transgressions.
