How do we know God's grace is sufficient for our weaknesses?

Answered in 9 sources

God's grace is shown to be sufficient through the life and teachings of Jesus, who calls us to Himself amidst our weaknesses.

In the story of Mary and Martha, we see God's grace at work in Jesus' gentle correction of Martha's preoccupations. Martha was busy with serving but missed the opportunity to hear Jesus’ words. Jesus’ response highlights His understanding of our human condition and our need for grace. 2 Corinthians 12:9 states, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' This assurance allows believers to rest in the knowledge that even in our frailty, God's purpose prevails. His grace empowers us to choose what is spiritually beneficial over what is merely urgent.
