How do we know God's grace is sufficient for reconciliation?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is demonstrated through the ultimate gift of His Son for the reconciliation of His people, as noted in Ephesians 2:1.

The sufficiency of God's grace for reconciliation is foundational to the sovereign grace theology. Scripture teaches that humanity, having offended God through sin, left in their natural state, is incapable of reconciling themselves to Him. Yet, it is God's gracious initiative that provides reconciliation through the blood of Christ. Ephesians 2:1 affirms that we were "dead in trespasses and sins," illustrating our helplessness. God took the first step by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the penalty for our sins and open the way for reconciliation.
