How do we know God's grace is sufficient for redemption?

Answered in 1 source

God’s grace is clearly shown through His covenant and the actions described in Ezekiel 16.

In the passage of Ezekiel 16, God’s grace is vividly displayed when He says to the helpless child, 'Live!' This act of speaking life into death is a beautiful illustration of how God initiates salvation. His choice to cover our nakedness and to cleanse us symbolizes how He actively works to redeem sinful individuals to Himself. The text also explains that God initiated this grace; we do not arrive at it on our own. It is through the sacrifice of Christ that we receive grace and redemption, demonstrating that it is His righteousness that qualifies us rather than our own efforts. This understanding is foundational to the Reformed faith, where we stress that salvation is entirely by grace through faith and not by our works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
