How do we know God's grace is sufficient to save us?

Answered in 1 source

God's grace is sufficient as it is based on the finished work of Christ, which completely redeems those chosen for salvation.

The sufficiency of God's grace is rooted in Christ's atoning work on the cross. The Scripture tells us that He bore the sins of His people and satisfied God’s justice (Isaiah 53, 2 Corinthians 5:21). This means that through Jesus, who is both just and the justifier, sinners can be declared righteous. The parables in Luke 15 illustrate this truth, especially in the lost sheep narrative where the shepherd seeks out the lost one and rejoices when he finds it, symbolizing God's relentless pursuit of His elect. God promises that those who belong to Him will be found, affirming that His grace is indeed sufficient.
