How do we know God's grace saves sinners?

Answered in 2 sources

We know God's grace saves sinners through the testimony of Scripture and the miraculous work of Jesus, who opened the eyes of the blind (Mark 8:22-26).

The assurance of God's saving grace is grounded in His sovereign act of mercy toward those He has chosen (Ephesians 1:4-5). The miracle of Jesus healing the blind man is a powerful typological representation of salvation itself – it is God who takes the initiative in our salvation, as the blind man was brought to Jesus by his friends without requesting it himself. Just as the blind man's sight was restored gradually, so God's grace often unfolds in the lives of the elect gradually, leading them from ignorance to knowledge and from darkness to light. This is a demonstration of God's sovereign grace, showing that salvation is a divine gift and not a human achievement.
