How do we know God's guidance is real?

Answered in 1 source

God's guidance is evident in the lives of believers as He directs their steps according to His sovereign will.

The sovereignty of God assures believers that He actively guides their lives, as illustrated in Ruth's story. Ruth did not know which field she would glean in, yet God directed her to Boaz's field (Ruth 2:3). This reflects the truth that, despite apparent randomness in life, all events are orchestrated by God for His purposes. Christians can trust that even in challenging circumstances, the Lord is at work behind the scenes, leading them toward His intended blessings and guidance in their decisions. This assurance provides a deep sense of peace and reliance on God's providence.
