How do we know God's guidance is real?

The sovereignty of God assures believers that He actively guides their lives, as illustrated in Ruth's story. Ruth did not know which field she would glean in, yet God directed her to Boaz's field (Ruth 2:3). This reflects the truth that, despite apparent randomness in life, all events are orchestrated by God for His purposes.
