How do we know God's judgments are serious?

Throughout Scripture, God's judgments reflect His holiness and justice. In the case of Ezekiel, we see a vivid illustration of God's judgment upon Jerusalem for its abominations, culminating in devastating events as described in 2 Kings 25. The God who does not tolerate sin will execute judgment, starting from His own house (1 Peter 4:17).
