How do we know God's law is still relevant for Christians?

The relevance of God's law for Christians lies in its role as a reflection of God's holiness and justice. Romans 7 makes it clear that the law is holy, just, and good, serving as a mirror that reveals our sinfulness and need for a Savior. Instead of abolishing the law, Jesus proclaimed that He came to fulfill it (Matthew 5:17). Through His perfect obedience, He upheld the law's demands and its righteousness is imputed to believers. Therefore, while we are not under the law for salvation, we still acknowledge its moral guidance and seek to live in a way that honors God, understanding that it points us to our need for grace.
