How do we know God’s law is still relevant for Christians today?

Answered in 1 source

God's law remains relevant as it illuminates our understanding of sin and our relationship with Christ.

God's law is relevant to Christians as it continues to guide us in understanding God's standards of holiness and justice. As stated in Romans 7:12, the law is holy, just, and good. It helps us not only to recognize our sinful nature but also to comprehend the character and expectations of God. While we are not under the law for justification—since we are justified by faith in Christ—the law still shows us what constitutes sin and serves to direct our actions and thoughts toward godliness as evidence of our faith. Thus, the moral implications of the law still instruct believers on how to live pleasingly before God.
