How do we know God's love amid His majesty?

Answered in 1 source

God's love is demonstrated through Christ's incarnation and His comforting presence (Romans 5:1-2).

Despite God's immense majesty that can inspire fear, His love is a paramount aspect of His character, especially as revealed through Jesus Christ. Scripture tells us that through faith in Christ, we have peace with God (Romans 5:1-2). Jesus shows God's love by approaching His people and touching them in their fearful moments, reminding them that His grace alleviates their terror. Christ's words, 'Arise, be not afraid' (Matthew 17:7), encapsulate the essence of God’s heart towards those who trust in Him. This balance of reverence and intimacy assures believers that while God is great, He is also gracious and desires a personal relationship.
