We know God's love is perfect because it does not fluctuate based on our actions; it is eternal and unconditional, as demonstrated through Christ's sacrifice.
God's love is described as perfect because it remains constant and immutable, regardless of our performance or failures. The love of God is not something that can be lost or increased; it is everlasting and perfect in its nature. This perfect love was displayed through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who paid the penalty for our sins. Our assurance rests in knowing that we are accepted in the beloved, and nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:38-39). Because God loves us with a perfect love, we can trust that He will never abandon or forsake us, allowing us to live confidently in our relationship with Him.
