How do we know God's love is demonstrated in the sacrifice of Isaac?

Genesis 22 not only narrates Abraham's obedience but also serves as a profound type of Christ's sacrifice. Just as Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his only son, Isaac, so God the Father did not spare His own Son but delivered Him up for us all (Romans 8:32). Isaac’s near-sacrifice illustrates the depth of God's love and points to the greater truth that through Jesus, our debts are fully paid. The continuity in these acts reflects God's covenant faithfulness and the means by which He planned to redeem His people throughout history.
