How do we know God's love is for us as Christians?

Answered in 1 source

God's love for Christians is assured through the grace shown in our salvation and the continuous presence of the Holy Spirit.

The love of God is vividly displayed in Romans 5:8, where it states that 'while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.' This unconditional love assures us of our identity as His children and reassures us amidst life's trials. Furthermore, the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives guides and comforts us, reaffirming God’s love. 2 Corinthians 13:14 encapsulates this by declaring, 'the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit' as continuous truths for believers, anchoring us in divine love.
