How do we know God's love remains even when He is angry?

Answered in 1 source

God's love endures despite His anger, as shown in Scripture where He loves His elect with an everlasting love even when they disobey.

The apparent contradiction between God's love and His anger can be challenging to understand. However, the sermon explains that just as parents may experience anger towards their children due to disappointment, they continue to love them unconditionally. Similarly, God's anger towards sin does not negate His love for His elect. In Jeremiah 31:3, God proclaims His everlasting love for His people, while Romans 5:8 demonstrates that Christ died for us even while we were sinners. Thus, God's anger is temporary and purposed for correction, ultimately revealing His profound love and commitment to our redemption.
