How do we know God's mercy is extended to nations like Tyre?

Answered in 1 source

God's mercy is extended to nations as seen in the account of Tyre, where He ultimately has a people among them who He saves and uses for His purposes.

The story of Tyre illustrates how God's mercy is not limited to Israel alone but extends to the nations. Despite Tyre being stripped and humbled for their pride and idolatry, there is hope in God's promise of restoration. He has His elect even in nations that have turned from Him, and through their deliverance, the gospel can spread. Revelation 5:9-10 also supports this, as it declares that Christ's redemptive work encompasses people from every nation, kindred, and tongue. Thus, we see that God's mercy is at work, calling His chosen people out of even the most fallen nations.
