How do we know God's peace is true?

Answered in 2 sources

God's peace is confirmed through His Word and the transformative experiences of believers who trust in Him.

We know God's peace is true through the faithful promises of Scripture and the internal evidence of His presence in our lives. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us to pray and let our requests be known to God, and in return, we are promised His peace that guards our hearts and minds. Furthermore, the experiences of believers throughout history affirm this truth, as many testify to finding a profound sense of peace amid trials when they trust in the righteousness of Christ. As we commit our ways to the Lord and trust in His sovereignty, we find that He is indeed our Jehovah Shalom, our source of peace.
