How do we know God's people are safe and secure?

Answered in 1 source

God's people are safe and secure because they are surrounded by His protection and love.

The assurance of safety and security for believers comes from God's promise to protect them eternally. In Psalm 125, it is stated that the Lord surrounds His people as the mountains surround Jerusalem, providing them with a hedge of divine protection. This divine safeguard does not mean that believers will be free from trials or persecutions; rather, it assures them that God's purpose and will are behind their experiences. God's sovereignty ensures that nothing can snatch them from His hands (John 10:28-29), reinforcing the idea that their ultimate safety lies not in their circumstances but in God's enduring presence and faithfulness.
