How do we know God's power is true in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

We know God's power is true in our lives through our experiences of weakness and dependence on Christ for salvation.

Our assurance of God's power comes from recognizing our own weakness and inability to save ourselves. The scriptures affirm that God demonstrates His strength through our failures, reminding us that our need for Him highlights His sufficiency. As Paul states, 'when I am weak, then am I strong' (2 Corinthians 12:10). This paradox is foundational in the life of a believer; we learn to lean on God's promises and recognize His sustaining power in our trials, as He preserves us through faith (1 Peter 1:5). Therefore, God's power is validated in the believer's continual reliance on Christ, who holds all authority (Matthew 28:18).
