How do we know God's presence is with us in our journeys?

Answered in 1 source

God's assurance of His presence is given throughout Scripture, reassured by His promises to accompany His people.

God assures His people of His presence during their journeys, as seen when He instructs Jacob not to fear going down to Egypt because He will accompany him there. This divine assurance, 'I will go down with thee into Egypt,' reinforces the believer's confidence that God is faithful to His promises. Throughout the Bible, we see that God’s presence is a source of comfort, strength, and guidance during times of trial. Believers today can rest assured that no journey is undertaken without Him, as He recognizes the struggles of His people and walks alongside them, providing the grace needed to persevere through difficult circumstances.
