How do we know God's promises of deliverance are true?

The evidence of God's promises can be found in numerous biblical accounts where He delivers His people, most notably through Jesus Christ. Throughout the Bible, from Israel's exodus from Egypt to Christ's resurrection, God demonstrates His faithfulness in providing deliverance. In Psalm 40, David acknowledges his own sin and need for God's help while also affirming that God's steadfast love will always be there to preserve him. As Romans 8 further reassures believers that there is no condemnation for those in Christ, we can trust that God's promises of deliverance are rooted in His faithfulness and love.
