How do we know God's providence in our trials?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence is evidenced in how trials lead to growth and ultimately good, as seen in Joseph's life.

God's providence is the active rule by which He directs all things in accordance with His divine will for the ultimate good of His children. This is vividly illustrated in the life of Joseph, who faced severe trials yet later recognized that it was God's hand that turned those adversities into blessings (Genesis 45:5-8). The understanding that God orchestrates every trial helps believers to trust in His goodness, even when circumstances are difficult. Such an understanding reassures Christians that every affliction, while painful, is used by God for their spiritual benefit and growth in faith.
