How do we know God's providence is real in our lives?

Answered in 1 source

God’s providence is evident in how He orchestrates circumstances to guide us away from sin.

The providence of God is seen throughout Scripture where He directs events for the benefit of His people. In the life of David, God intervenes when he finds himself in a morally compromising position among the Philistines. David was brought back from the brink of war against Israel, illustrating how God controls the hearts of rulers and events to protect His anointed ones. This reflects His active role in our lives, where He guides, restrains, and provides direction, ensuring that His purposes for us are fulfilled, even amid our failures and weaknesses.
