How do we know God's providence is related to prayer?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence orchestrates our lives to lead us toward prayer and reliance on Him.

Divine providence plays a crucial role in teaching us to pray. As seen in Luke 11, God uses circumstances in our lives, even challenging ones, to bring us to Him in prayer. For instance, when we face trials or feel our inadequacies, it often prompts us to seek God’s help. The parable of the man knocking on his neighbor’s door illustrates this, as it highlights the way God uses our needs to draw us closer. By recognizing our dependency on Him, we can better understand how God’s providential hand is at work, bringing us to a point of prayer and reliance.
