How do we know God's providence is seen in our struggles?

Answered in 1 source

God's providence is often revealed through our struggles, highlighting His sovereign control and care for His people.

The providence of God is evident in the way He guides and protects His people, even in their struggles. In the case of Miriam and Aaron, their critical attitude and subsequent chastening by God showcased His sovereign authority and care for Moses, His chosen leader. Despite their rebellion, God used this situation to teach them humility and demonstrate that He hears and defends His elect. True understanding of trials comes from recognizing that they are tools used by God to bring us closer to Him and to strengthen our faith, as evidenced in 1 Peter 4:14-15, where suffering for Christ's name is a mark of His blessing upon His people.
