How do we know God's purpose for us?

God’s purpose is not hidden or elusive; it is clearly articulated in His Word and through the person of Jesus Christ. According to Ephesians 1:5, God has predestined His people for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will. This highlights that God’s purpose is inherently tied to His character – He is gracious, loving, and sovereign. Furthermore, as believers seek to understand God’s purpose, it is encompassed in the realization that their lives are transformed and guided by His grace, as made evident through His Scripture and ongoing relationship with them.
