How do we know God's purpose in our troubles?

Answered in 1 source

God's purpose in our troubles is revealed in Scripture, affirming that He has a plan to glorify Himself and provide for the salvation of His people.

Scripture assures us that God is sovereign over all things and has a purpose in every circumstance; Ecclesiastes 3 reminds us that there is a time for every activity under heaven. Everything that happens is ultimately for God's glory and serves the salvation of His people. When we face troubles, we can rest assured that God uses these experiences to grow our faith and remind us of our dependence on Him. Therefore, instead of succumbing to despair or frustration, believers are called to trust in His wisdom and timing—recognizing that He makes everything beautiful in His time.
