How do we know God's purpose in the world?

Answered in 1 source

God's purpose in the world is revealed through His Word, showing that all things are ordered for the good of His elect (Acts 17:26).

In Deuteronomy 32:7-8, we are reminded that God's governance is purposeful, as He set the bounds of nations according to the number of His people. This means that every inch of land and every inhabitant exists within God's sovereign decree. In Acts 17:26, it states that God has determined the times and places where people will dwell, which underlines His divine intention. Thus, everything in the world has a reason, including the trials and blessings experienced by individuals, all orchestrated for the good of God's chosen ones. Every event and trial serves His glorious purpose, continually leading His elect towards their ultimate destiny.
