How do we know God's purpose is our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture consistently affirms that God's ultimate purpose is to save His people and bring them into communion with Him.

In Isaiah 51:16, God states, 'I have put My words in your mouth, and have covered you in the shadow of My hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art My people.' This indicates that God's intentional design behind creation and events in history is to ultimately save His creation. The assurance of believers' identity as God's people is rooted in His unalterable purpose of grace, culminating in their redemption through Christ, as elaborated in passages like Romans 8:29-30. Thus, God's purpose is intrinsically linked to our salvation and His plan to bring us into eternal fellowship with Him.
