How do we know God's purpose remains unthwarted?

In Isaiah 14:26-27, it is proclaimed that the Lord's purpose will stand, and no one can thwart it: 'This is the plan determined for the whole world... who can turn it back?' God's absolute power ensures the fulfillment of His will, even when human actions seem to oppose it. Acts 4:27-28 illustrates this by showing that the conspiracy against Jesus occurred according to God's predetermined plan, demonstrating that even the choices of men serve His ultimate purpose. Such scriptures affirm that no matter how chaotic events appear, God's sovereign will manifests in every situation.
