How do we know God's purposes are always fulfilled?

Answered in 1 source

God's purposes are fulfilled because He is sovereign and His will prevails regardless of human actions.

The certainty of God's purposes being accomplished lies in His sovereign nature. Genesis 45:7-8 implies that God sent Joseph to Egypt for a divine purpose; His plan for saving a remnant was being fulfilled through Joseph's sufferings. Similarly, Acts 4:28 teaches that the actions against Jesus were determined beforehand by God's counsel, showing that human choices do not thwart divine intentions. This means that believers can trust in God's promises and ultimate plan of salvation. Throughout Scripture, God assures us that His plans will prosper, such as in Isaiah 46:10, where He declares the end from the beginning, reinforcing the believer's hope in His unchanging faithfulness.
