How do we know God's purposes in our suffering are good?

Answered in 1 source

God's purposes in our suffering are designed for our refinement and ultimately for His glory.

In times of suffering, it can be difficult to see the good that God intends. However, the Bible reassures us that God has a purpose in every trial. As seen with figures such as Job and Jacob, suffering often leads to spiritual growth, deeper faith, and the recognition of God's grace. God's intention is to humble us, to increase our reliance on Him, and to prepare us for greater works in His kingdom. When we endure hardship, we should trust that God is sovereign and that He will use our trials to bring about His ultimate plan for good.
