How do we know God's purposes will come to pass?

Answered in 1 source

We can be assured that God's purposes will come to pass because He is sovereign, and all His plans are fulfilled according to His eternal will (Isaiah 46:10).

The assurance that God's purposes will come to pass is firmly rooted in His sovereignty and omnipotence. As stated in Isaiah 46:10, 'I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, my counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure.' God does not merely hope things will occur; He ordains them. This means that everything happening in the world and in our lives is under His directive sovereignty. His eternal counsel is unchangeable, and nothing can thwart His intentions. This foundational truth is a source of hope for believers, reminding them that God is in control, even amidst chaos.
