How do we know God's rest is available to us?

Answered in 1 source

God's rest is made available to us through faith in His gospel, as stated in Hebrews.

The availability of God's rest to His people is confirmed in Hebrews 4:3, which states, 'For we which have believed do enter into rest.' This assurance is based on the finished work of Christ, who completed all that was necessary for our salvation. The promise of entering into His rest is also linked to belief in the gospel, which calls us to stop our own efforts and trust in His provision. We can have confidence in this promise because God has sworn it and He is faithful to fulfill His word.
