How do we know God's righteousness will deliver us?

Answered in 1 source

God's righteousness delivers us through faith in Christ, who perfectly fulfilled the law and offered Himself as the sacrifice for our sins.

The righteousness of God is central to our salvation, as articulated in Psalm 71 where David prays for deliverance in God's righteousness. This righteousness is ultimately embodied in Jesus Christ, who fulfilled the law perfectly and became our substitute on the cross. Through faith in Christ's work, believers are justified and freed from the curse of the law. The assurance of deliverance lies in the perfect righteousness of Christ, which is credited to us, ensuring that when we trust in Him, we will not be put to shame. In our trials, we are continually reminded that it is through Christ's righteousness that we find refuge and hope.
