How do we know God's sovereignty during life's storms?

Answered in 1 source

We know God's sovereignty is active in our lives, even during storms, because He ordains all events for our good.

According to Scripture, God's sovereignty encompasses all creation, including the trials and storms of life. In Psalm 107, we see that God commands the stormy wind, showcasing His control over nature. In the sermon, it's emphasized that every trial serves a purpose; as stated in 1 Peter 1:6-7, our trials refine our faith. The storms we face are not random but are permitted by God to challenge us, revealing our need for Him and deepening our reliance on His faithfulness. By understanding that these challenges are under God's sovereign hand, we can find peace and courage, knowing that He will bring us through to the other side.
