How do we know God's sovereignty in choosing people for salvation is true?

The doctrine of election is deeply rooted in Scripture, wherein Ephesians 1:4-5 explains that God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. This choice is not based on any foreseen merit or action from us but is solely an act of God's sovereign grace. The entirety of redemptive history points to God's purpose and plan, fulfilling His divine will as He elects and calls His people unto salvation. This understanding gives glory to God alone for salvation and emphasizes that it is by His grace we are saved, not by works.
