How do we know God's sovereignty in the fall of man?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty is evident in the fall, as it was part of His eternal plan for redemption.

The fall of man is not outside of God's sovereignty; rather, it fits into His redemptive plan. In Ephesians 1:4-5, we see that God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, indicating that the fall was foreordained and part of His purpose to demonstrate His grace to the elect. Moreover, Revelation 13:8 states that the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world, reinforcing that God was not caught off guard by the sin of Adam and Eve, but rather orchestrated history towards redemption through Christ.
