How do we know God's sovereignty in the provision of grace?

Answered in 1 source

God's sovereignty in grace is evident in how He commands the blessings and provisions to flow to His people.

The sovereignty of God is clearly illustrated in the way He commanded nature and circumstances to meet Elijah's needs, as seen in 1 Kings 17. God orchestrated events, providing food for Elijah through ravens and a widow in Zarephath. This underscores His control over all creation and His willingness to provide for His elect according to the richness of His grace. The consistent theme throughout Scripture is that God's grace is not based on our merit but entirely on His sovereign will and mercy (Titus 3:5).
