How do we know God's sovereignty is true in our lives?

Answered in 2 sources

God's sovereignty is affirmed in His control over all aspects of life, as described in Hannah's prayer and throughout Scripture.

In Hannah's prayer, she acknowledges that the Lord is the one who 'killeth and maketh alive' and 'maketh poor, and maketh rich' (1 Samuel 2:6-7). This illustrates God's absolute sovereignty over life and death, as well as our material circumstances. Throughout Scripture, God's control is evident; He governs all events and outcomes according to His divine purpose. The confidence in His sovereignty provides believers with assurance that God works all things for the good of those who love Him, as stated in Romans 8:28. Thus, we trust in His providence and His ability to sustain and guide us at all times.
